Olympic Torch Passes Holly Farm's Front Door

In one of the first legs of it's long Canadian journey, the Olympic Torch was carried past our  property by  one of two cyclist. Cycles were used in this leg of the relay as Central Saanich is a popular cycling area. The relay was greeted by a group of Holly Farm residents and as well as others from the  neighbourhood. The procession was fronted by two large vehicles displaying Coke logos and a third with RBC advertising. A large contingent of Police Officers from all Victoria Municipalities and RCMP Detachments accompanied the torch on it's journey.
